The Department of English – PUC aims to nurture a love for English Literature and develop essential language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) in students.
Our teaching approach for first and second-year PUC students is based on the prescribed textbooks and workbooks, supplemented with engaging activities like discussions, presentations, quizzes, and assigned readings to foster confident communication and presentation skills.
Such approach improves the students’ creativity and cognitive abilities which can lead to better academic performance across various subjects.
